Resort Terms & Conditions
CREDIT CARD DEPOSIT POLICY:
All reservations require credit card deposit of first night stay. Credit card will be charged in advance at the time of booking. If credit card declines for deposit, reservation is subject to cancellation without notice.
Reservations must be canceled/modifications must be made 72 hours prior to arrival date. Reservations cancelled or modified within this time frame are subject to forfeiture of the first night's or package deposit. Advance booking rates/discounts/promotions do not allow cancellation or modification without forfeiture of the stay value.
A major credit card in your name and picture identification must be presented to check into South Coast Winery Resort & Spa. At check-in we will authorize the estimated charges for room, tax, resort amenity fee, and incidentals ($125 per night) for your entire stay which will place a hold on these funds. At check-out the authorization is replaced with actual charges. While we also accept debit cards we would like to remind you that an authorization on a debit card at check-in will hold your funds for 5 to 7 days after departure. Cash and/or gift cards can be applied upon checkout. Carter Estate Winery & Resort does not accept check payments.
CHECK IN/OUT TIME:
Check-in time is after 4:00pm and check-out time is before 11:00am. Early check-in is determined on the day of arrival. If you arrive early you are more than welcome to take advantage of the resort's amenities while waiting for your room. Early check-in and late check-out cannot be guaranteed.*
*Due to high occupancy levels, early check-in is not available on Friday, Saturday or Sunday arrivals. Late check-outs are limited and based on the discretion of the resort and management. An additional charge will be applied at management's discretion for failure to vacate the room by posted check-out time.
EARLY DEPARTURE FEE:
A fee of $150 will be charged if you check out before your agreed departure date at the time of your reservation.
All special room location requests are based upon availability and cannot be guaranteed. This includes but is not limited to location requests for bungalow pod assignment, near other resort guests, location requests for pool and specific vineyard views.
When applicable, a charge of $20 + tax per 3rd and 4th adult will apply nightly. Rates quoted are based upon double occupancy. Charges for 3rd or 4th adult are charged at check-out.
Property is non-smoking.
South Coast Winery Resort & Spa is dog friendly. Up to two dogs are welcome for a fee of $100 per dog per stay to cover deep cleaning costs after every pet departure. This fee is non-refundable. Guests must sign a pet waiver at check-in taking responsibility for their dogs.
All rooms are subject to a daily $19 Resort Amenity Fee and Mandatory Taxes. All rates and promotions are based upon availability and subject to change. Management reserves all rights.
South Coast Winery Resort & Spa is committed to accommodating room type preferences and requests. Occasionally, we receive more requests than are available at our resort. If this happens, every effort will be made to meet your room preferences. The bed type guarantee does not apply to room upgrades.
South Coast Winery is a working winery, with beautiful vines, olive trees, natural foliage and outdoor creatures. We like to keep the creatures outdoors, so we suggest you close your patio door when you are not enjoying it and remove all food. You may at sometime experience a small visitor (arachnids, lizards, insects, etc.) as they like to escape into cooler (or warmer) temperatures. We will be happy to help you evict them if you do not feel comfortable doing so yourself.
